Before you can use Active Operating Picture Extension for Geocortex Essentials (AOP), you need to ensure that the data you want to gather is connected to AOP, including social media accounts and the ArcGIS GeoEvent Server if you plan to use it send data to AOP.
AOP Components
Within Geocortex Essentials, you can make many of the changes for your AOP application such as:
Add and organize additional reference map services that may be relevant to your organization’s incident response.
Add and configure security providers for sign in.
If you do not use ArcGIS Online to sign in, some features like demographic and traffic information, will not be available.
Refine security and permissions for your users and groups.
Create and add additional workflows specific to the types of incidents for which your organization is responsible.
