• This release is the first to use unified Geocortex Viewer for HTML5 and Geocortex Essentials versioning. Major and minor releases will include both the Geocortex Viewer for HTML5 and Geocortex Essentials. These releases will follow the Geocortex Essentials version numbers. Maintenance releases of each product may still be made available separately. This release aligns with the Geocortex Viewer for HTML5 4.12.0 release.

4.10 - 27 June 2018

Important Information:

• This release aligns with the Geocortex Viewer for HTML5 2.11.0 release.

• As of Geocortex Core 3.1.7, which is included in Geocortex Essentials 4.10, the default whitelist configuration has been tightened to improve security. Specifically, the WatcherHost setting is now set to * instead of _site_ by default, which means only requests from whitelisted IPs are allowed instead of allowing all requests from the local network. For more information, see Protecting Geocortex Core from Unwanted Access.

• If you intend to install Geocortex Essentials 4.8 or newer alongside existing pre-4.6 instances or Geocortex Insight on the same machine see the Important Information section for the 4.6 release.

• If you have a Geocortex Analytics installed as a hub on the same machine you must also upgrade to Analytics 1.3 or newer.

New Capabilities:

• Support for VertiGIS Studio Reporting. Administrators can now add reports to layers that use the new VertiGIS Studio Reporting product.

Known Issues:

• CORE-2655: If upgrading directly from 4.5.x you may encounter an issue where the REST API and Manager fail to load due to a “Newtonsoft.Json, Version=6.0.0.0” assembly loading error.

• GVH-14888: If upgrading directly from 4.3.x or 4.4.x you may encounter an issue where the new Collaboration feature does not work. Upgrading via 4.5 will avoid this problem.

• 14621: Map services not in layer list should not be saved as visible=false in themes.

• 14629: Envelopes with 'NaN' values should serialize as null.

• 16253: Swap row/column on incorrectly configured WMTS services.
