• Added support for cross-section charts. Administrators can configure a chart that takes a slice of a right-of-way perpendicular to the Measure (M) value direction.

• Added the following route selection enhancements:

  • Alternate Unique ID field.

  • Display start and end M values in the route selection dropdown.

  • Display start and end M values on the map during hover.

  • Select the entire route from the selection dropdown.

• The term “Measure” is now configurable so administrators can use an alternate term such as “Chainage”.

New Features

• The VertiGIS Studio Web data table can now be used to view Inline data.

• An administrator can limit the search distance to select a route to avoid errors when multiple routes may be located.

• Chart tooltips can now be viewed in a combined tooltip for all charts in a band or as individual tooltips for each chart containing features at a given location.

• Users can now jump to the next or previous routes without having to reselect the route and range. This feature requires next route and previous route fields in the centerline data.

• Inline can now use VertiGIS Studio Web workflows that return results.

• The Designer choice page (Legacy / V2) no longer appears when the token has expired.

• VertiGIS Studio Inline has been removed from the VertiGIS Studio product suite and renamed VertiGIS Inline.

• As of 2.0, VertiGIS Inline is now a VertiGIS Studio Web component, supporting tighter coupling with Web and inclusion of Web features.

• Charts can now be refreshed by users to reflect the addition of new data, including user-added data.

• An option to add labels to engineering segments has been implemented.

• The cursor position and total distance of the selected portion of the route can now be labelled from 0 – n, in addition to the measure value position.

• Keyboard and screen reader navigation have been added to support WCAG compliance.

• A filter chart tool has been added so users can filter the chart data.

1.0 - 28 April 2020

Version 1.0 is the initial release of VertiGIS Inline. The following features and capabilities are included in this initial offering.

VertiGIS Inline Designer

The Inline Designer is a web-based graphical interface that lets you create interactive straight-line diagrams and alignment sheets (using line charts, linear charts, and scatter charts), allowing you to present your linear referenced data to your users in a dynamic view.

You can customize chart display options, add functions, and create actions that users can trigger from the view—for example, launch a workflow or print a report from a chart.

Users access views by logging into the web map application Inline has been deployed to—Geocortex Viewer for HTML5, VertiGIS Studio Web, or ArcGIS Web AppBuilder, and interact with the data using the charts and actions configured in the Designer.
