Pinpoint Search

In Mobile Designer, Pinpoint Search allows users to find components (configured or to add), services, settings, layers, fields and operations easily.

Pinpoint Search finds items in the following categories:

• Configured Components: Existing components in your layout.

• Configured Services: Existing services in your app.

• Toolbox Components: Components you can add to your layout.

• Deployment: Deployment settings and operations.

• Layout: Layout operations.

• Configuration Sharing: Configuration sharing operations.

• File: File operations.

• Info: Application information operations.

• User: User operations.

• Configured Components and Services Contents: The various parts of existing components and services.

• Configured Map and Scene Contents: The various parts of existing web maps, including the layers and fields.

To use Pinpoint Search:

1. In the search box beside , type a search term.

   To quickly focus on the search box, press CTRL+SHIFT+F.

2. To navigate directly to the desired result, click it.

   To view the documentation about a result, click beside the result and then click View Documentation.
