In Designer, it is possible to replace the currently open app by uploading a zip file containing app and layout configuration files. You can only replace the Development stage of the app, not the Testing, Staging or Production stages.

While downloading an app includes all resource files of the app, such as uploaded images and custom code configuration libraries, uploading an app does not restore these resources and they must be manually reconfigured.

To upload app configuration to the Development stage:

1.Do one of the following:

•In the taskbar, click File > Upload App.

•In the taskbar, click Deploy. Beside Development, select Upload App from the three-dot menu.

2.Click Select File.

The File Upload window appears.

3.Navigate to the zip file that contains the app and layout configuration files with which you want to replace the Development app, and click Open.

4.Click Submit.

5.Click File > Save.
