Operating System Requirements
VertiGIS Studio Search requires Windows Server 2019, Windows Server 2022, or Windows Server 2025 and must run IIS 10+.
We recommend deploying Studio Search on a dedicated server due to its processing demands. Shared deployments are not recommended.
Security Requirements
The VertiGIS Studio Search server must have a valid Transport Layer Security (TLS) certificate and you must enable TLS for the website to which you deploy VertiGIS Studio Search. TLS is the successor of Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) security but is still sometimes referred to as SSL. For more information, see How to Set up SSL on IIS 7 or later.
Network Requirements
At this time, client machines must have an internet connection, even when accessing your on-premises version of VertiGIS Studio Search and Search Designer.
