VertiGIS Studio Web servers are responsible for serving static content, which downloads and runs in the client’s browser. Think of your Studio Web server as a web server and optimize it based upon the same principles. We recommend that your server surpass the minimum requirements.

VertiGIS Studio Web requires Windows Server 2016, Windows Server 2019, or Windows Server 2022.
The VertiGIS Studio Web server must have a valid Transport Layer Security (TLS) 1.2 certificate and you must enable TLS for the website to which you deploy Web. TLS is the successor of Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) security but is still sometimes referred to as SSL. For more information, see How to Set up SSL on IIS 7.
At this time, client machines must have an internet connection, even when accessing your on-premises version of VertiGIS Studio Web and Web Designer.
