Sharing print layouts allows others to access the layouts.
The two levels of sharing are as follows:
•Allow end users to run prints: Share the print layout as an ArcGIS item so that users of the host application can run prints.
Users must have access to the application that hosts the layout.
•Allow authors to modify print layouts: Create an ArcGIS group with update capabilities and share the print layouts with the group to modify the layout in Print Designer.
To quickly share a print layout with another print author in your organization, provide the author with the URL to the print layout. The URL for a print layout looks similar to the following:
https://apps.vertigisstudio.com/printing/designer/#print=4979f7d88b444308bd2ccc0eeb31dfe2
