The VertiGIS Studio Search server must have a valid Transport Layer Security (TLS) 1.2 certificate and you must enable TLS for the website to which you deploy VertiGIS Studio Search. TLS is the successor of Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) security but is still sometimes referred to as SSL. For more information, see How to Set up SSL on IIS 7.
