The Quick Add Layer from File method allows you to upload layer data from an external file and Web automatically detects and applies default settings.

Before you begin, check the Data Requirements for the file you are using to upload the layer data.

To add layer data using the Quick Add Layer from File:

1.In the Layer List component, configure the Layer Actions to include the Quick Add Layer from File menu item.

2.Navigate to the Layers tab, click the three-dot menu, and select Quick Add Layer from File.

A window opens for you to select a file.

3.Navigate to the file with the layer data.

Supported file types are CSV, Excel, and shapefiles.

4.Click OK.

The new layer appears in the map.
