Every app that you create and deploy for VertiGIS Studio Web is created in the VertiGIS Studio Web Designer. Web Designer comes with several templates that open automatically the first time you open Designer. You then configure the template by adding a different map or several maps and services, and changing the layout and other components until the app meets your needs.

Within Designer, you can move an app through various deployment stages (Development, Testing, Staging, and Production). At each stage, a copy of the app is created and given a separate ID. A copy of the map also appears in the Esri portal you are integrated with.

If you make changes, you always make the changes in the Development stage and then move it through the other stages in one direction.
