Reports can be launched using various VertiGIS Studio desktop tools that integrate the Report Launcher Control. This can take various forms:

The control lists configured reports and the number of objects that are processed in them. In the extended form, you can select a report from the drop-down list and then execute it by clicking the button on the right -> the report processing dialog opens with the selected report and the matching objects. If the compact form is used, clicking on the button opens the drop-down menu containing all reports. If you click on one of the listed reports, the dialog for report processing is started with this report and the corresponding objects.

•Press the [Ctrl] key while sending the report to the report processing dialog -> the report is started automatically if objects are defined. The last defined parameter values are used.

•Press the [Shift] key while clicking on the button will start the report in a background process. A notification popup shows up informing that the report generation was startet and another popup will indicate when the report was created and downloaded.

Studio Reporting Ribbon Group

The Studio Reporting Ribbon Menu contains a launcher that presents reports that can use at least one feature from the map selection. Changing the map selection can also change the list of executable reports.

Only the reports for which the Ribbon option is activated in the Show report in configuration can be executed from here.

Result List

The launcher in the Results list allows you to start a report that can be executed with the objects listed here. Select a report and click on the button on the right -> the report processing dialog is opened with the selected report and the objects from the results list.

Identify Tool

Reports that can be executed with at least one object listed in the identification tool are listed in the launcher at the bottom of the tool. Select a report and click on the button to the right -> the report processing dialog with the report and the objects is opened.
