VertiGIS Studio Desktop is distributed as an executable installer that automatically selects the appropriate installation package based on how ArcGIS Pro is installed on the computer.

The installer supports both per-machine and per-user installations:

•Per-machine installation: If ArcGIS Pro is installed for all users on the computer, Studio Desktop is installed for all users and requires administrator privileges.

•Per-user installation: If ArcGIS Pro is installed for the current user, Studio Desktop is installed for the current user without requiring administrator privileges.

The installer includes the following components:

•Studio Desktop Toolkit (required)

•Studio Desktop Workflow (optional)

•Studio Desktop Printing (optional)

•Studio Desktop Reporting (optional)

•Studio Desktop CrossLink (optional)

 

The installer also allows you to enable or disable the VertiGIS Studio Desktop Landing Page by default. When enabled, ArcGIS Pro starts by displaying the VertiGIS Studio Desktop Landing Page. When disabled, ArcGIS Pro starts using its default behavior.

The installation behavior and installation location depend on whether ArcGIS Pro was installed per-machine or per-user.

To install VertiGIS Studio Desktop:

1.Ensure you meet the requirements.

2.Download the installer.

3.Install Studio Desktop.

4.Configure the post installer.
