Existing annotations can be moved or realigned. Also, their orientation can be changed. First, the annotation to be edited must be selected in the map. The annotation and the associated annotation feature is highlighted in the map.

The cursor feedback shows the annotation in its design and current orientation. Analogous to the collection, the annotation can be changed using the context action Change Orientation and can be turned by 180°.

For point features that are always labeled horizontally, the next time the position is determined on the map, the point is shifted. With aligned annotations, the nearest line segment of the labelled feature is determined for the next position. The annotation is realigned with this line segment. This is immediately reflected in the cursor feedback. The next time you enter a position on the map, the shift will be carried out.
