In Mobile Designer, Pinpoint Search () allows users to find components (configured or to add), services, settings, layers, fields and operations easily.

Pinpoint Search finds items in the following categories:

•Configured Components: Existing components in your layout.

•Configured Services: Existing services in your app.

•Toolbox Components: Components you can add to your layout.

•Deployment: Deployment settings and operations.

•Layout: Layout operations.

•Configuration Sharing: Configuration sharing operations.

•File: File operations.

•Info: Application information operations.

•User: User operations.

•Configured Components and Services Contents: The various parts of existing components and services.

•Configured Map and Scene Contents: The various parts of existing web maps, including the layers and fields.

To use Pinpoint Search:

1.In the field beside the search icon (), type a search term.

To quickly focus on the search box, press CTRL+SHIFT+F.

2.To navigate directly to the desired result, click it.

To view the documentation about a result, click the help button ( ) beside the result and then click View Documentation.
