When you create a Search app, you have the option to create either a:

•VertiGIS Studio Web app (configured in Studio Web)

•Universal app (configured in Studio Search)

A universal app could be used for Studio Web as well, when using a workflow. It can also be used for other possible Search clients, such as an Experience Builder widget or a third-party product.
