Create an App in an ArcGIS Portal

To create an app in an ArcGIS Portal:

1.Sign in to your organization's Esri portal.

If your organization uses ArcGIS Online, the URL should look similar to this:

https://MyCompany.maps.arcgis.com

If your organization uses Portal for ArcGIS, the URL may look something like this:

https://MyCompany.com/arcgis

2.Click Content.

3.Click New Item.

4.Select Application.

The New Item window appears.

5.Select Other application.

6.Click Next.

7.Configure the application item using the following settings:

Title: The name of the application as it will appear in your portal.

Tags: Key words used by your organization to describe the app. Tags allow the app to be found via a keyword search.

8.Click Save.

The new application is added to your portal.
