The Basemap Slider is used to move between different base layers in a basemap series and is useful in the following applications:
•Switch between basemaps. If multiple basemaps are available (for example, satellite imagery, street maps, terrain maps), a slider enables you to transition between them.
•View side-by-side comparisons between maps (for example, historical and modern maps).
At lease one instance of the Basemap Slider is required for a basemap series.
To configure the Basemap Slider:
1.Configure the Basemap Picker to add a new basemap series and series layers.
2.Add the Basemap Slider component to your layout.
Now in your preview, you can select the new basemap and move through the imagery using the slider.
