Description

An activity that provides the ability to add notes and comments to a workflow. It is a good practice to use Notes to describe the business problem a workflow solves as well as the approach the workflow uses to solve the problem. It is often helpful to use notes to describe sections of a workflow that contain complex logic, or make assumptions about data. Consider that the workflow may evolve over time and be edited by multiple authors.

The Notes activity cannot be connected to other activities and does not execute at run time.

Usage

You can include multiple Notes activities that describe the workflow as a whole as well as individual sections of the workflow that might require explanation. This is extremely helpful for understanding how the workflow works when changes need to be made or changes are made by multiple authors.
