The main steps to create and run a VertiGIS Studio print layout are as follows:
You can either create a print layout from scratch, or create a print layout from a factory layout that provides a preconfigured layout as a starting point.
Add the map to the layout. Add map components like a scale bar, legend, overview map, and north arrow. Add a title and any descriptive text, images, and branding elements you want. Format the content.
Run the print in Print Designer's embedded Preview environment to verify it. Make any changes you want and re-preview the print until you are satisfied.
4.Save the print layout.
Print layouts are saved to the VertiGIS Studio Printing service, with an item in your ArcGIS account.
To share the print layout with end users so they can run it, share the ArcGIS print item. You can also share a print layout with other print authors so they can copy or modify the layout.
6.Configure an application to host the print layout.
Print layouts can be hosted by VertiGIS Studio Web, Geocortex Viewer for HTML5 viewers or Web AppBuilder apps. Hosting in Web AppBuilder uses a custom widget developed by VertiGIS Studio for this purpose.
7.Run the print from the host application. When prompted, download and open the PDF.
