To configure a resource:

1.Select it from the Dashboard > App Configuration > Configured Resources.

2.In the Resource Configuration screen, configure the Reindexing Options.

3.Verify the chosen search fields are enabled. Return to Studio Web to select or deselect search fields.

 
At least one field must be chosen as Search Field.

Fields containing geometries, floating point numbers, binary data, or XML content are not recommended as Search Fields.
 

To ensure a proper indexing of the data, always select OBJECTID as a minimum.

You must save your app before it can be indexed and function fully.

4.Configure Default Settings.

5.Configure Advanced Settings.

6.Click Refresh to verify the app is indexed. When it is properly indexed, the status changes and you can see the creation date and the number of records.
 

7.Click File > Save.

Sometimes a second log-in window appears when saving a resource. This happens when refreshing a token from ArcGIS Online and is necessary to fetch the new token.
