A resource is an ArcGIS layer or table that you want to make searchable using VertiGIS Studio Search. When you configure a resource in Studio Search, Studio Search indexes its data so that users can search the data efficiently and receive relevant results.
After you create a resource, you can configure how its data is indexed and searched, including the fields that are used for searching and how frequently the index is updated. You can also configure the resource's reindexing, default, and advanced settings.
After adding a resource, you can configure its Reindexing Options, Default Settings, and Advanced Settings. You can also specify which fields are used for searching and verify that the resource has been successfully indexed.
Changes to a resource's configuration may require the resource to be reindexed before they are reflected in search results.
